Tonya Manning is the International Actuarial Association (IAA) and Chair of the Strategic Planning Subcommittee (SPS). Her actuarial experience spans from an analyst at Booke & Company, Aon’s US Retirement Chief Actuary, policy actuary with US Department of Treasury and now US Wealth Chief Actuary for Buck as well as Buck’s US Wealth Practice leader. Tonya is also a lecturer for Columbia University’s Master’s Program in Actuarial Science.
Tonya served as President of the Society of Actuaries in 2013 and as a member of their Board from 2006 to 2015. She is currently a member of the SOA’s Postretirement Needs and Risks Committee, leads the Women in Consulting Community for the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and a member of several other committees.
